We are on a vacation within a vacation! It's an all girls getaway for Mom, Hye-Jeong, Hye-Joo and me. More on our destination later, but I thought I'd sneak in this little report on make-up here in South Korea.

When I started preparing for this trip, I discovered that make-up is a
really big deal in Korea. I came across
several blogs dedicated to Korean make-up and saw that a lot of visitors to South Korea were saying that Korean-brand make-up was a popular thing to bring back to the states.
On our first shopping trip in Insadong I definitely had fun visiting a couple of make-up stores and I was astounded by the number of make-up shops in Myeong-Dong.

So, I was not surprised when my cousin Hye-Joo wanted to show me her Korean make-up regimen.

OK. So I may have snuck in some of my make-up bag products during our "lesson", but we had a lot of fun.
